OMW, YES! I've had the same problem several times haha. In fact, right now I'm writing in the dark while my younger sister, with whom I share a room, is trying to sleep! XD
Yes! I 100% agree on your poetry rules! Its when i try to stick to the rules my poetry stops flowing, whereas if I write as it comes, it comes much closer to expressing how I feel. And honestly reading yours, was amazing. Just like when I listen to a song that expresses just the right feeling. I love how you wrote it, words and the feeling behind it. And I love the person behind it. every opportunity to see another piece of her, is amazing and something I would gladly see more of. And yes, I have a Pinterest board that's Me, although I don't have a Playlist necessarily. I have a Songs on Repeat which is basically just a cycle of my current emotions for the moment or songs that help me get out of a bad place. But basically I group my songs together based on different things, and each Playlist is a different side of me.
I love your poem because it conveys the complexity of being human, which isn't always defined by limits, as you rightly say. I also have a short poem that I haven't published in Spanish about what "being" means, but it's more... pessimistic.
